Types of FSSAI

FSSAI State License:
- Eligibility: Turnover between ₹12 lakhs - ₹20 crores.
- Factories with a daily capacity of greater than 2 MT.
- Dairy facilities operating on more than 5000 liters of milk per day.
- Hotels with three stars or more, repacking and labeling firms, clubs, canteens, and all catering establishments, regardless of their annual revenue.
FSSAI Central License:
- Eligibility: Turnover between ₹12 lakhs - ₹20 crores.
- Units that can produce more than 2 MT of goods per day.
- Dairy plants that handle more than 5000 liters of milk per day.
- All catering establishments, regardless of their annual revenue, clubs, canteens, and hotels with three stars or more.
